Real-Time Circuit Event Support & Incident Clearance
When the green light illuminates, seconds count. We provide the rapid-intervention vehicles, specialist fluid neutralizers, telehandler crane operators, and course marshaling workflows that keep sessions running safely.
The Dynamics of Active Session Incident Management
In competitive racing, an uncontained fluid leak or a stranded car at turn four can scrub out valuable television windows, ruin team testing run-plans, or create extreme hazards for oncoming drivers. Our event support crews work hand-in-glove with Race Control to restore racing conditions as quickly as possible.
We operate specialized intervention vehicles equipped with rotating boom cranes, high-capacity winches, compressed foam extinguishing units, and high-absorption bio-dispersants. Our objective is simple: neutralize threats, extricate disabled vehicles, restore track boundaries, and return the circuit to green status without compromising safety.
Incident Mitigation Protocols
Every physical intervention follows clear chain-of-command rules. Race Control provides track status permission before any vehicle crosses an intervention line. Once clearance is granted, our operators execute calibrated procedures:
Engine Oil & Coolant Remediation
Synthetic motor lubricants and glycol coolants turn asphalt into ice. Traditional clay cat-litter absorbents create abrasive dust clouds that damage radiators and engines. We deploy biodegradable enzymatic liquid binders and high-speed rotary scrubbers to degrease track surfaces in minutes without lingering residue.
High-Reach Vehicle Extrication
Low-slung race cars with composite carbon diffusers cannot be dragged through deep gravel without severe underbody damage. We position telescopic handlers with soft synthetic lifting strops at key impact zones to lift cars over gravel traps in a single maneuver.
Energy-Absorbing Barrier Repair
When a competitor contacts an Armco barrier or a Tecpro wall, the safety cell absorbs massive kinetic loads. Our teams carry pre-tensioned barrier modules, rapid hydraulic pin pullers, and modular tire stack bundles to restore barrier ratings during yellow or red flag intervals.
Pit Lane Speed & Hot-Pit Marshaling
Pit lanes are active industrial zones with fast vehicle transits and dense team personnel. Our ground marshals supervise pit exit blending, enforce minimum protective equipment compliance, and manage refueling fire-watcher stations.
Coordination Between Race Control, Marshals & Heavy Machinery
Seamless event-day execution requires crystal-clear radio communication and standardized visual hand signals. Heavy recovery plant operators must never enter the track perimeter without dual confirmation over closed operational radio channels.
We deploy dedicated digital two-way radio channels with GPS-tracked vehicle positions on the Race Control telemetry wall. This allows the Clerk of the Course to know the exact location, speed, and status of every sweeper, tow vehicle, and medical chase car at any second during the event.
Operational Strategy: Local Yellows vs. Full Course Yellow vs. Red Flag
Different incidents necessitate different tactical responses. Under Local Yellow flags, marshals manage localized debris clearing from behind safety barriers. Under Full Course Yellow or Safety Car conditions, rapid sweepers and flatbed recovery trucks can deploy onto the racing surface. When major barrier reconstruction is required, clear communication with the Clerk of the Course allows an immediate red-flag call so heavy crews can safely access the impact zone.
Post-Session Track Sweeping & Debris Retrieval
Even without major crashes, modern racing sheds substantial carbon shards, discarded tear-offs, and rubber marbles along the racing line. Between heats, our high-speed sweepers sweep the track perimeter and run-off strips to prevent debris from puncturing tires in subsequent sessions.
- Carbon Fiber Magnet Sweeping: Using magnetic bars alongside high-vacuum suction to draw out metal fasteners, loose winglet bolts, and safety wires.
- Rubber Marble Relocation: Clearing marble piles from high-speed apexes into outer perimeter collection areas to maintain uniform tire grip across the track width.
- Drain & Kerb Edge Re-check: Confirming that impact vibration has not loosened drain covers or displaced apex bolt fixtures.
